VCQ supports the Virginia Quilt Museum

Located in Dayton, VA at the Silver Lake Mill, the Virginia Quilt Museum was founded in 1995. The museum has vast gallery space to exhibit all genres of quilts from historical to modern and everything in between. Programs and workshops are held throughout the year hosting lecturers, quilting classes and a Stash Blast where fabric is sold by the pound. Group tours, guided tours, and hands-on presentations are also available. The museum is open Tuesday – Saturday from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. Visit the VQM website to see what’s happening now:

The Virginia Quilt Museum is seeking new volunteers. Volunteers can help with any number of tasks but the most pressing needs are docents and gift shop help. Volunteer shifts are three hours and the museum asks that you commit to one shift a month. Fill out a volunteer application today!
