The Virginia Consortium of Quilters is a state-wide organization of quilters which meets in person three times a year in various parts of the state. In 2020, we started offering online classes and now have a mix of in person and online classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote quilting, provide community service and document quilting in Virginia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our organization is open to everyone interested in quilting, and members come from surrounding states as well as Virginia. At each in-person meeting, we usually have a choice of workshops with local instructors, lunch, and a short business meeting. Our online offerings feature local and national quilting instructors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In even numbered years we have a 4-day “Celebration of Quilting” Spring retreat with local and national teachers at the Skelton 4-H Educational Center at Smith Mountain Lake. Come join us to meet new quilting friends, learn new techniques and see the beautiful countryside of Virginia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
